MAINTENANCE/CONSTRUCTION WORKER – Public Works Department. Full-time Permanent. Performs routine, heavy manual work assisting in the repair, maintenance, and care of streets, storm sewer, and related areas. HS diploma/GED req. Requires Class B CDL with air brakes certification, or must obtain such within 60 days from date of hire. Subject to pre-employ drug screen. Salary range: $28,353-$43,947. Closing date: September 24, 2010.

YOUTH BASEBALL UMPIRES – Recreation & Parks Department (Athletics Division). Needed August - October for games involving ages 6-15; umpiring experience and/or sound baseball/softball knowledge preferred; 4-10 games/week played Mon.-Fri. evenings and Saturdays. Pay rate: $15.50-$23.50/game, depending on league. Open until filled.

BASKETBALL OFFICIALS - Recreation & Parks Department (Athletics Division). Needed October - February for games played Mon.-Fri. evenings and Sat.; 2-10 games/week; flexible scheduling; previous experience and/or sound basketball knowledge preferred. Pay range: $16.50-$21.50/game. Open until filled.
