    Capoeira Angola NEW!

Capoeira is a dance-combat-game that was created by the first African slaves that were brought to Brazil in the 1500's. Now it's one of Brazil's most popular sports! Much like break dancing, it involves acrobatic movements, music, and is often played in the middle of a circle of spectators. Many break dancing moves evolved from Capoeira. Capoeira Angola is set apart by its rich African tradition, fluid movements that represent combat, a dance, and a body conversation. It works on flexibility, balance, strength, coordination, and rhythm. Come learn the basics of this rich art form through a 6 week course for beginners. You will be amazed at what your body can learn to do! Six classes. No class 4/9.
