Sandlot Baseball Registration - NEW! |
|
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department will be sponsoring
a Sandlot Baseball program for ages 9-12. Registration
will begin Monday, May 5th 8:30am at the Carrboro Century
Center. The fee is $10 per week selected or $40 for all
four weeks of the program. Teams are formed on a date
by date basis with game play occurring during morning
hours in the month of July. Registration forms must be
signed by a parent/guardian and is accepted on a first
come first serve basis. For more information, please call

Fall Baseball League Registration |

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department will be
sponsoring a Fall Baseball Program for participants
6-15 years old as of October 15, 2008. Registration
will begin on Monday, July 7th for Orange County residents,
July 14th for out of county residents, at the Recreation
Department, 100 N. Greensboro St. Carrboro. Office hours
are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm. The fee is $52
for Orange County residents, $91 for out of county residents.
Registration forms must be signed by a parent/guardian
and is accepted on a first come first serve basis. For

CLASS Soccer Registration |

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Carrboro Recreation & Parks Department is sponsoring
C.L.A.S.S. (Children Learning Athletic Sports Skills)
soccer for kids and their parents. The program is designed
for children 4 to 6 years old as of the start of the
class. The goal of the program is to introduce the fundamentals
of soccer to the participant and parent. The instructor
guides both the child and parent in understanding the
skills of passing, dribbling, trapping and shooting.
Parent and child will be encouraged to practice the
skills learned at home. Parent participation is a major
part of this program. The program will be held on Saturday's
(9:00am-10:00am) from September 6th to October 11th.
The cost is $47/child. Pre-registration is required
and will begin Monday, May 7th at the Carrboro Recreation
& Parks Department, 100 N. Greensboro St. Space

Volleyball Class Registration |

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department will be
sponsoring a volleyball class for youth ages 10-13.
This class is designed to introduce and work on the
fundamentals of volleyball. Volunteer instructors guide
the participant in understanding the skills of bumping,
setting, spiking, and blocking. Registration begins
Monday, May 5th at the Carrboro Century Center, 100
N. Greensboro St., in Carrboro. Fee is $47 per player
and space is limited. The class will take place on Sunday's
September 7th - October 12th from 1:00pm-2:15pm. For
